Walcheran Barracks, Glasgow.
This centrally located building, near Glasgow’s West End, is ideal for sports, training and filming. Facilities include a sports hall, internal firing range, classrooms, social area and meeting room. The generous secure, external area can also be used for vehicle storage.
Please note that only clubs affiliated with a governing body can use the firing range.
Primary availability between Monday and Friday during office hours. Events outwith will also be considered.

History:
The building was named in 1985 by by Princess Margaret, on the occasion of the presentation of Colours to the 1st Battalion, 52nd Lowland Volunteers. The designation Walcheren, was in recognition of Operation Infatuate, part of the Battle of the Scheldt in which the Glasgow Highlanders of 52nd (Lowland) Division were involved in the capture of Walcheren Island on 8 November 1944.
